I don't know about you, but I am struggling with my motivation to get my Christmas cards done... so - after discussions with Nikki, I have set you all a challenge...

Between now, the 24th Oct and the 24th Nov, I want you all to make ALL your handmade Christmas cards that you were planning to do, this then gives you enough time to have them all ready to be posted out on time for Christmas Very Happy

The rules are simple, sign up and tell us how many Christmas cards you NEED to make... then get making, pretty simple, right? As you do them, mark them off, and post piccy's in the gallery (if your making all the same card, you don't have to post each one, just show us the pile with your design on top) Very Happy

There are two prizes, the first one everyone wins, YOUR CARDS ARE DONE! Woo Hoo

The second, one lucky card maker will win a set of Itty Bitty Backgrounds from Stampin' Up! valued at $24.95 (please check page 97 for a picture, or check out the online catalog -> HERE) This is a really cute and versatile set that can be used again and again for many different occasions or making fantastic backgrounds on your LO's or ATC's. I have this set and use it heaps!! Very Happy

Winner will be announced 1st Dec by random draw.

MIND I don't make all the cards that are given, I would go mad.. the kids buy their card for their friends (well Riz makes her own) and there are people I send cards to that I only really send because they're long (long long long) distance relations that your expected at least once a year to say hello to.. does that sound horrible? Too bad if it does, someone I never see isn't gonna be getting any kind of effort from me.. Spin Giggle

I'm getting ambitious this year, and I've signed up for the Basic Grey Christmas card class at my lss.

I'm planning on making 4

Now mind you... I haven't sent out Christmas cards in -- oh man.. like 16 years?

My goal will be that whatever I MAKE... I also have to MAIL!!

(Last Christmas card I mailed out got to the recipient at Easter) Guess that makes sense, as that's when I took down the tree that year, too.

I always have grand plans, and then end up rushing at the final hour... this year I AM going to be ORGANIZED - I've stopped all my groups now until the new year, so I have NO EXCUSES!! Laughing

i know i do.......... i am teaching a xmas card class on the 11th so that might get me started.... i have heps left over from last year, and i dont know how many i need to make yet, so give me a sec to check how many i have first.
i usually make about 40 or more Rainbow Smile

I have relatives who don't do cards, because they don't like the fact that everyone just 'expects' them. So, I wonder.. do they then 'expect' me to send them one?
