Challenge 1

Blind Fold

Blind Scrapping Blind Fold

Blind Scrapping will be listed at 8pm (sa time)

THE PRIZE:

PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD BLIND LAYOUTS TO THE GALLERY.
Re-size (600x600 no bigger) and email them to hypotypo26@hotmail.com
Layouts can be uploaded to the Cyber Crop Gallery AFTER the 15th of June,and not before.

Those who complete and email me a pic of their layout TONIGHT, will go into another draw to win a RAK from me!

Overall prize winner will be chosen by random draw of all participants who complete the blind scrap. You only have to be in it to win it!

You will Need:
Photo: ONE 5x7 Landscape, or TWO,3x5 portraits
4x pattern papers
1x cardstock for base
1x quote sticker/ word sticker/diecut
3x medium sized embelishments, eg: chipboard shapes/flowers
1x alphabet for title
Journaling pen
ruler
tape/adhesive

Instructions:
Blind Fold

Step#1.
Cut pp#1 to 10x10 inches (25x25cm)
adhere this to the centre of your cardstock sheet.
(this will be 1 inch from either side, and the top and bottom)

Step#2.
Cut pp#2 to 1.5 inches x 12 inch strip (4x30cm)
Adhere this 1.5 inches (4cm) from the bottom of your base cardstock
Going across PP#1.

Step#3.
Cut pp#3 to 1x12 inches (2.5x30cm)
adhere onto pp#2, so that pp#2 is showing at the top and bottom.

Step#4.
Cut pp#4 to 8x6 inches (21x15cm)
adhere 1 inch (2.5cm) from the top of pp#1, and 1.5inches (4cm) from the left hand side of pp#2.

Step#5.
Take your word/quote sticker, and adhere ontop of pp#2 and pp#3,
on the left hand side of the page, close to the edge,

Step#6.
Adhere photo(s) to pp#4, 1 inch (2.5cm) from both the top, and the right hand side of pp#4.

Step#7.
Draw/doodle a border around the outside edge of pp#1.

Step#8.
Adhere embelishments x3, to the top right hand side of pp#4.

Step#9.
Add title under photos, on pp#4 overlapping onto pp#1.

Step#10.
Add journaling at the bottom under pp#2&3.

If you are getting confused Karen,you can always try putting a post it or some masking tape, with the number of the PP stuck to each one, eg pp#1, pp#2 on it, if that makes sense?
as the hardest bit is usually remembering which piece is which.

And the idea is to stick it down as you go, no cheating like Erika does Girl Fight

there seems to be too much on the right hand side, and I've just noticed I did my doodle on paper #4 instead of #1 Mr. Green

But I know I had a couple of small issues. I didn't have any photos to cut down quite to the right size, so mine are just a little bigger Foot in Mouth

. And I really wanted to use a strip that wasn't quite wide enough, so I made it wider with a backing peice. So my PP#3 is made up of two bits, you will see what I mean.

AND I like it, so thats all that counts. I did a layout Woo Hoo
